Welcome to Rental Command
What Rental Command is and the one idea behind it — the computer does the typing for you.
Rental Command is a property-management app for landlords who run their business from a phone and a stack of paper. It keeps track of your properties, tenants, leases, rent, and expenses — but it's built to feel simple, not like accounting software.
The one idea: the computer does the typing for you
Most of the work in property management is copying numbers off a piece of paper into a form. Rental Command flips that around. You scan, photograph, or talk, and the app reads the document and fills in the fields. You just check it and confirm.
- Snap a photo of a receipt or bill and it becomes an expense.
- Photograph a rent check and it becomes a payment.
- Upload a lease and it becomes a lease record.
- Record a quick voice note ("the furnace at 12 Oak is making noise") and it becomes a maintenance request.
Nothing is saved until you say so. The app only ever creates a draft for you to review.
What you can do here
- Track properties and units and see who's occupied.
- Keep tenants, applications, and leases in one place.
- Log rent payments and expenses, and see your money at a glance.
- Connect a bank feed and match it to your records.
- Handle maintenance, inspections, and appointments.
- Get a plain-English daily briefing and ask questions about your portfolio.
- Give tenants a portal to pay rent and send requests.
