Ask Your Portfolio (Q&A)

On the AI Assistant page you can ask questions about your own data in plain English and get an answer back — no reports to build, no filters to set.

Ask a question

1. Open the AI Assistant page.
2. Type a question in the Ask a Question box and press Enter (or tap send).
3. The assistant looks at your portfolio and answers in the chat.

You can keep the conversation going — follow-up questions understand what you just asked.

Things you can ask

Try the suggested prompts or your own, for example:

• "Who's late on rent?"
• "How much did I collect this month?"
• "Any leases expiring soon?"
• "What needs maintenance?"

How it answers

The assistant pulls from your real records — payments, leases, work orders, and more. Under an answer it may show "Looked at: …" listing the data it checked, so you can see where the answer came from.

If the assistant is off

The Q&A needs AI to be configured for your account. If it isn't, you'll see a note that AI is off and the chat won't answer — but your Daily Briefing bullets still work without it.
