Tenant Portal

Tenant Portal Overview

For tenants — pay rent, request maintenance, message your landlord, and view your lease.

If your landlord uses Rental Command, you get a tenant portal — one place to pay rent, ask for repairs, message your landlord, and see your lease. This article is for tenants.

Your dashboard

When you log in, My Home shows the essentials: unread messages, anything overdue, your next rent (how many days until it's due), and your open maintenance requests. Notifications from management appear at the top.

Pay rent

  1. Open Payments.
  2. Each charge shows what it's for, the amount, the due date, and its status. Tap "What is this charge?" for a plain-English explanation.
  3. On a charge you still owe, click Pay now to pay securely online.

Autopay: click Set up autopay to have rent charged automatically when it's due, so you never miss it. You can turn it off any time. (If online payments aren't set up yet, you'll see a note — keep paying the way you do today until it's ready.)

Request maintenance

  1. Open Maintenance.
  2. Fill in a title and description, pick a category and priority, and Submit Request.
  3. Your open requests are listed with their status so you can track them.

Message your landlord

Open Messages to start a conversation or reply to one. Threads show the latest message, and opening a thread marks it read.

View your lease and ask about it

Open Lease to see your lease details — rent, end date, and more. There's also Ask This Lease: type a question like "Can I have a pet?", "When is rent due?", or "What's the late fee?" and get an answer drawn from your own lease.
